About The Loop

The Loop is a three-mile urban trail that creates and connects great places in the SouthPark area. The Loop will accommodate bicycles and pedestrians, creating a healthy, vibrant and convenient activity center. Private investments will enhance the public realm by connecting destinations and public spaces together, creating a more engaging experience for residents, employees and visitors in SouthPark.

The Loop will incorporate custom wayfinding, lighting, furnishings and public art that creates a consistent brand and a unique sense of place for the area. Priority projects such as the Symphony Park enhancement or the shared festival street on Assembly Street will promote community interest and events, while smaller amenity areas along The Loop will provide casual, comfortable seating and activity areas. With the integration of colorful and playful public art, seating and activities, The Loop will bring vibrancy to the area and become the new heartbeat of SouthPark.
